District Court Mediation

In 2007, the Judges of the Southern District of Ohio approved the hiring of a full-time, professional mediator to provide mediation services to litigants in the Court. The services of the District Mediator are in addition to all other mediation and ADR options offered by the Court.

Case Referral

Cases can be referred to the District Mediator by the assigned Judge or at the request of a party. In addition, the District Mediator can select cases for mediation.

Mediations are held in the courthouses in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton. They typically begin at 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled for a full day. To schedule a mediation, or to learn more about referring a case, contact:

      Teresa Mack, Mediation Administrator
