FBA ABLF Joint Civility Program

The Dayton Federal Bar Association Chapter and the Thomas F. Waldron American Bankruptcy Law Forum will be jointly presenting a program on civility and professionalism on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Frederick C. Smith Auditorium on the campus of Sinclair Community College in Dayton. The topic is “Civility in a Multicultural and Multigenerational Bar”.  This will be a great opportunity for you and your colleagues to receive your professionalism/ethics credit before the end of the year. As a bonus, there will be a catered reception following the CLE program at which you will be able to mingle with the panelists and other judges and your colleagues and further the goal of the program of promoting civility. The distinguished panelists are the Hon. R. Guy Cole, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the Hon. Algenon L. Marbley, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the Hon. Caroline H. Gentry, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.  The Moderator for this event is the Hon. John E. Hoffman, Jr., Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  The program will last until 7:30 p.m., with a catered reception immediately following in the Charity E. Earley Auditorium.  Attendees will receive 1.50 hours of Ohio CLE professionalism credit.  This program is free for American Bankruptcy Law Forum and Federal Bar Association members and is open to the public for a fee of $35.00.
