Court Reporter Information

Contact the court reporter listed on the docket report to request a transcript. (You can access the docket report through PACER.) If the court reporter is listed as an official reporter on the docket report but is not shown below, please contact the local Clerk’s Office.

When a case is pending on appeal, follow the Sixth Circuit’s instructions for requesting a transcript.  You can find instructions and policy with regards to transcripts here:

Upon the filing of the request with the Sixth Circuit, any court reporter listed as a participant in the case will be sent notification.

For a transcript of a digitally recorded proceeding, please contact any of the court reporters in the city in which the hearing was held. They will work with the judicial staff to obtain the recording. You will be contacted once they determine how long it will take to prepare and the cost of the transcript.
