Cincinnati Federal Court hosts youth for Leadership Law Day

The U.S. District Court Southern District of Ohio’s Courthouse in Cincinnati welcomed around 50 students as part of the Taft Law/Northern Kentucky Chamber Regional Youth Leadership Law Day.

The students were given a tour of the building on Jan. 18 and had the opportunity to speak with and ask questions to U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Stephanie Bowman and United States Circuit Appeals Judge John Nalbandian.

The students were mostly comprised of high schoolers from Northern Kentucky.

Courthouses in the U.S. District Court Southern District of Ohio hosts many students throughout the year to connect with the community it serves. The Court hopes the time spent with the students helps them take an interest in the roles and functions of the federal judiciary
