The Southern District of Ohio celebrated Constitution Day in September 2023 by holding naturalization ceremonies in all three cities – Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.  These ceremonies are designed to swear in new citizens, but also to celebrate this important date with the new citizens.  In the three cities, these naturalization ceremonies on Constitution Day are now annual events.

At City Hall in Columbus, Chief Judge Algenon Marbley, U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus and U.S. Magistrate Judge Chelsey Vascura presided over a naturalization ceremony with 100 new citizens.
