Attorneys can manage their fee exemption status within a single account.

Attorneys with a fee exemption only need one PACER account for filing and viewing in NextGen. Exempt users should use the toggle feature within NextGen to alternate between exempt and not exempt status.

  • CJA Attorneys must submit their PACER exemption request directly to PACER.  Instructions can be found on PACER here
  • Mediators will have the exemption submitted to PACER by the Court.
