BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Judge Caroline H. Gentry is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and Yale Law School. After a two-year federal clerkship with U.S. District Judge Walter H. Rice, she went into private practice as a civil litigator. From 2005 to 2021, she was a litigation partner at the law firm of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, where she focused on complex commercial litigation, ERISA litigation and class action defense. In February 2022, Judge Gentry began serving as a United States Magistrate Judge. She is a past president of the Dayton Bar Association and teaches aviation and drone law at Sinclair Community College.
